Hit the E3. The information officially fell a few minutes ago into the focus of several bad news in recent months. The world’s biggest video game show, which was due to celebrate its return this year, has been cancelled.
The news was shared with members and confirmed by IGN
After this notice Kyle Marsden-KishVice President of Gaming at ReedPop, provided additional information:
This was a difficult decision to make due to all the effort that we and our partners put into running this event, but we had to do what was right for the industry and for E3. We understand that interested comp anies didn’t prepare playable demos and that resource issues made attending this summer’s E3 an obstacle they couldn’t overcome. For those committed to attending E3 2023, we’re sorry that we can’t give you the exposure you deserve and have come to expect from ReedPop events.
However, the door is not completely closed to future editions. Still, it’s hard to imagine how the event would manage to go up the slope after that announcement without a major change in their organization.
