Troy Baker doesn’t voice Jason in Grand Theft Auto VI, but then who does?
The trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI not only highlighted special impressions, but also left fans with some questions. One question is who will lend his voice to Jason.
Some GTA fans assumed that it would be Troy Baker (Joel in The Last of Us). The rumors multiplied, grew stronger and suddenly, for many people, it was already certain, even though there was no announcement at all – but that’s not the case.
Troy Baker grooms himself clear: “He says a word! He says ‘trust’. That’s a lesson in perception right there – people think and assume automatically.”
“I want this man, whoever he is, to be recognized for his work because I’m sure it will be great.”
Troy also talked about the enormous amount of work involved in acting for Rockstar Games games.
It’s no secret that the scripts of games like Grand Theft Auto are so extensive that it can take months, even years, to get through them. Being a main character in a Grand Theft Auto game is something monumental, Baker continued.
