The Silent Hill 2 remake would be that of Bloober Team
The makers of Layers of Fear, Blair Witch and The Medium have long been part of the rumor mill for a new Silent Hill installment, and in fact they don’t hide much of their passion for the saga, as we found out in our own interview. a little over a year ago, but it looks like they’ve hit the jackpot, as they’re reportedly working on the best-rated and beloved remake of Silent Hill 2 in the entire saga.
According to NateTheHate2, who reveals it in the tweet inserted above, it would have revamped puzzles, new endings and for our misfortune… it would be a temporary exclusive on PlayStation consoles, excluding Xbox in the first months, but not on PC, where it should also be released. On the other hand, we would find a title from the main saga, something like “Silent Hill 6”, and alternate stories, referring to a lighter episodic style game, whose studio names like Annapurna Interactive or Supermassive, the creators of Until Dawn.
