Perhaps because it was one of the horror titles that marked our generation, perhaps because it was the first capable of competing with the giant until then that was Resident Evil, Silent Hill is a name that has crossed borders, well, to give you an idea, 98% of the times a trending topic is created on Twitter, it’s just because “there’s fog in someone’s town” .
But back to what concerns us, after this weekend’s major leak that demonstrates the absolutely real existence at the end of a new installment of Silent Hill, footage included, some insiders have also joined in to provide their information. on this subject. And curiously, they all agree. In fact there would be up to three new projects: A remake, a new complete episode of the saga, and another with small alternative stories.
That’s what I heard, and it comes from several different sources. Not all of my sources are primary, but everything lines up for the most part. For me, the biggest indicator is what I saw lining up with Konami doing a big reveal at E3 last year before it was pulled. https://t.co/GzUb3jzrwX

The Silent Hill 2 remake would be that of Bloober Team
The makers of Layers of Fear, Blair Witch and The Medium have long been part of the rumor mill for a new Silent Hill installment, and in fact they don’t hide much of their passion for the saga, as we found out in our own interview. a little over a year ago, but it looks like they’ve hit the jackpot, as they’re reportedly working on the best-rated and beloved remake of Silent Hill 2 in the entire saga.
According to NateTheHate2, who reveals it in the tweet inserted above, it would have revamped puzzles, new endings and for our misfortune… it would be a temporary exclusive on PlayStation consoles, excluding Xbox in the first months, but not on PC, where it should also be released. On the other hand, we would find a title from the main saga, something like “Silent Hill 6”, and alternate stories, referring to a lighter episodic style game, whose studio names like Annapurna Interactive or Supermassive, the creators of Until Dawn.
The latter is not yet clear, but according to VGCthe new opus would again be in the hands of a Japanese studio, specifying that the leaked images correspond to a title codenamed “Sakura”, which will be free, in anticipation of the sequel to the Silent Hill games.
