After Paris, Wakanda was revealed with artwork as the setting for Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra.
Another location in Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra has been revealed by Skydance New Media.
In addition to occupied Paris during the Second World War, part of the action will also take place in Wakanda, as the developer revealed using new artwork on Entertainment Weekly.
In the interview, Amy Hennig said of the newly revealed setting: “Wakanda at this point is sealed off from the outside world and protected by this impenetrable jungle. They don't get involved, but there are events that draw them into the conflict. They have to protect their interests. The world is getting smaller and smaller. There are no satellites yet, but there will be soon. You can shoot down planes that might try to fly over Wakanda, but how long can you stay in the shadows?”
But there will be other locations because, according to Amy Hennig, “a global story” is being told. They are depicted with “photorealistic, cinematic details,” as it goes on.
The Wakanda artwork and many other details from the interview are available Weekly entertainment.
