Microsoft reveals major improvements to the Xbox interface

Microsoft has made improvements to the Xbox user experience over the first two years of Xbox Series X|S life, but there’s still room for improvement. Based on user feedback Alpha Skip-Ahead and Alpha programs, Microsoft Found some improvements in its trial version.

The biggest change is a cleaner design, where the tiles are at the bottom of the screen and have been reduced in size to show off the background.

. A new game art feature has also been added, which will display a game’s art when you hover over its title.

Navigation has also been improved with a new quick access menu at the top of the screen, including shortcuts to Games Library, Game Pass, Xbox Store, and Settings menu

. Additionally, the “My Games & Apps” tile has been updated and will now notify users when there is something new or they need some attention.

The new updated Xbox Home UI is now available in preview for Xbox Insiders and will launch later this year to all users.
