Frank X Shaw, Microsoft’s Lead Communications, isn’t too pleased to know Sony in Brussels. In fact, he stated in a small thread on Twitter this weekend that Sony is lying about the Redmond-based company’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard. The latter would try to convince Brussels that parity is not possible for Call of Duty. However, we do know that Microsoft has offered a contract for at least 10 years so that the famous CoD franchise can be sold on all consoles, including Nintendo.
Also, the head of communications says that Sony is the console market leader and that it would be foolish not to sell Call if Duty on that platform. Microsoft’s goal would be to make it like Minecraft and ensure that as many players as possible have access to this franchise.
