NBA 2K25 will be released worldwide in September and the new-gen version will offer improved authenticity and realism thanks to ProPLAY technology.
2K today announced that five-time NBA All-Star Boston Celtics forward and reigning NBA champion Jayson Tatum will be the cover athlete for NBA 2K25 Standard Edition.
In the NBA 2K25 All-Star Edition, Tatum will also be featured as a double cover athlete alongside two-time WNBA Champion, two-time WNBA MVP and six-time WNBA All-Star Las Vegas Aces forward A’ja Wilson.
2024 Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame inductee, eight-time All-Star, two-time All-NBA Team player and NBA Dunk Contest legend Vince Carter will grace the cover of the NBA 2K25 Hall of Fame Edition.
NBA 2K25 will be released on September 6th on PlayStation 4|5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch.

The new-gen version of NBA 2K25 is available on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, and will also be supported on PC this year. Thanks to improved ProPLAY technology, the new-gen version of NBA 2K25 delivers the most realistic basketball experience in the entire franchise to date and gives players the ultimate control to dominate on the court.
Players on PC with compatible hardware can now benefit from the enhanced realism provided by ProPLAY technology and have the opportunity to compete in modes such as My NBA, The W and The City. Cross-platform play is only available on new-gen consoles.

NBA 2K25 will be released in four different editions in digital and physical formats: the Standard Edition, the All-Star Edition and the Hall of Fame Edition, which will only be available until September 8th and includes a 12-month membership to the NBA League Pass.
In addition, a GameStop-exclusive WNBA Edition will be available as a physical version in the US and Canada, also featuring A’ja Wilson on the cover. All editions of NBA 2K25 can be pre-ordered now and will be released worldwide on September 6th.
