It’s been several months since details of Project Shaolin and Project Belfry, two new games in development for Xbox, surfaced. These projects, presumably exclusive to Xbox, gradually revealed new details about their features, as well as the development studios and their relationship with Xbox Game Studios Publishing. In this case, new leaks from the Belfry project, developed by Stoic Studios, have appeared.
The leak, of course, comes from Jez Corden, who dur ing the podcast of Xbox Anywhere
Project Belfry could release this year and be announced at the Xbox & Bethesda Showcase
Further details on the game reveal that multiplayer isn’t a sure thing, so it’s not entirely clear how the HUB or its Destiny-style Crucible component would work. Thus, everything seems to indicate that the cloud service would be a key element in its operation. On the other hand, it also looks like it will have RPG elements, being an interesting mix or an MMO.
During the podcast, Corden talks about the possibility of the video game releasing this year, as it may have been in development since 2019. This could be a good sign that leads the studio to show something during the Xbox & Bethesda Showcase which will take place on June 12, we will therefore be attentive to its possible revelation.
