Mojang and NASA have joined forces to create Artemis Missions for Minecraft. The partnership between the US space agency and the developers of the popular creation game offers a glimpse of the Artemis space program and Orion spacecraft as part of the educational aspect offered by the diploma.
Artemis 1 was a lunar orbit mission launched in 2022 and the first dedicated to the exploration of our satellite for many years by the northern country. The objective of the mission was to evaluate the Orion spacecraft and its thrusters in order to work on other such projects in the future. The result was very satisfactory and the module completed two full orbits to the moon before returning to Earth’s atmosphere on December 11.

The Artemis 1 is introduced to Minecraft through its educational platform and a special Minecraft Bedrock map. In this experiment, the players (or students) pThey can design their own spaceship and set off to conquer space. Assignments can be completed with code blocks and/or Python with online courses from the National Science Teachers Association and the Computer Science Teachers Association.
The Artemis: Rocket Build DLC is now available on the Minecraft Market. Players will be able to enter NASA labs and even chat with scientists and engineers from the institution for help with their launches.
