Paint the Town Red Comes Out of Early Access, Coming to Xbox This Month
The brawling first-person sandbox Paint the town red arrives July 29 for consoles and PC. From South East Games we have a roguelike title coming up in Early Access until very recently. But the time has come to come out of the nest, so we will have it available in version 1.0 for Xbox One, Xbox Series S | X, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and PC. Since its initial Early Access release in 2015, Paint the Town Red version 1.0 has gone from a violent sandbox to a customizable action experience.
We’re going to destroy our enemies in a fast-paced, visceral first-person system with melee action, class abilities, and over 200 possible weapons. From improvised weapons to ninja weapons like shuriken, even guns to guess whoever passes us. With a roguelike system, we will work for an underground organization facing the horrors of the living dead in an underworld. We can choose between five different classes with their variations in stats and abilities. As an agile specter, who can teleport, or the pillar of the vanguard, able to heal his allies.
In an ever-changing procedural world, we must put an end to the Four Old Gods. In addition, in Scenarios mode we will face a series of thematic sandboxes where competitors must end whatever comes their way. On the other hand, in arena mode, the endless hordes will put the fighters to the end. Modifiers can be applied to customize the experience, such as penalties or slow motion modifiers and other surprises.
Paint the Town Red arrives July 29 on all platforms. The title will feature English dubbing and subtitles and interface in a good collection of languages. Among the possible translations we will have: French, Italian, German, Spanish, Arabic, Bulgarian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, Greek, Hungarian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Romanian, Russian, Simplified Chinese , Swedish, Thai, Traditional Chinese, Turkish and Ukrainian.
