In Unlocked’s recent interview with IGN, Phil spencer He presented some ideas on how Xbox has grown over the past two decades and what it aspires to see the platform continue to advance. According to Phil Spencer:
The number one metric that we can analyze to see if our business is really growing is whether people are playing more on the platform (…). There is nothing on review scores, there is nothing on console retail sales or game retail sales. The number one sign that our platform is healthy and growing is actually player engagement on the platform, and that’s what makes Xbox Game Pass grow.
. So our business continues to grow and remain profitable on Xbox, and we are very proud of that.
