This is the second time JG Hertzler has returned to the role of Martok Star Trek Online, just one of over 40 different classic Star Trek actors who repeated their roles in our game. After Martok became chancellor in “Deep Space Nine”, he ruled peacefully for many years. But he was put down in his prime by the young upstart J’mpok, who has been Chancellor of the Klingon Empire ever since. Martok is believed to be dead and was found alive in a Son’a prison. Now he serves the Klingon Empire, including the man who “killed” him. How far can his loyalty to the Empire be stretched for the most honorable Klingons before it breaks?
Gowron, on the other hand, remains very dead after his death from Worf in “Deep Space Nine”. Robert O’Reilly instead plays Akar, Gowron’s distant ancestor. When J’ula, a fierce Klingon warrior, was sent in time for 2411, Akar came with her. Once her loyal lieutenant, he betrayed her and instead left to serve J’mpok. But Akar has always been a snake in the grass, who knows where his loyalty really lies?
Our celebrity cast is rounded off by Rehka Sharma from “Star Trek: Discovery”. Even though she played Ellen Landry on Discovery and in Star Trek OnlineSharma takes on a new role for this story. She plays Adet Pa, the Witch of Nimbus III, a Klingon spy who serves her own interests. Right now, Adet Pa is your ally. But will that last through the events of? House shattered? Only time can tell.
