Devour the competition with Terry, the hungry wolf, now available in Street Fighter 6.
Terry Bogard, the legendary hungry wolf, appears in Street Fighter 6 as the first guest character in the Street Fighter series and is now available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam.
Terry, originally from SNK’s Fatal Fury series, will be playable in all three of Street Fighter 6’s game modes, including World Tour, Fighting Ground, and Battle Hub. Alongside Terry’s release, there are two brand new features that will help fighters of all levels – V-Rival and Replay Review – as well as additional new content and quality updates detailed below.
Starting today, players can access Terry in all three game modes, including:
- World tour: Visit Terry, the newest master, to learn his moves and strengthen your bond by completing missions and giving him gifts. Once players meet two conditions – training with Ryu and completing the mission in Chapter 11-4 – a “One Fateful Day” menu will be added to the World Tour menu. “One Fateful Day” takes us to Metro City alongside Terry, where a 3v3 battle event called the ‘Knock Out Festival’ (KOF for short) is taking place in which players can participate.
- Combat Center: Players can bring the new moves and emotes they learned from Terry in the World Tour and show them off!
- Combat area: Players can perform Terry’s legendary special moves and Super Arts while competing against friends, family, and opponents from around the world!
Terry’s Outfit 2 will also be available for purchase at the same time as its release or can be unlocked via the World Tour. Fight in Terry’s classic brown jacket and jeans, which he in Fatal Fury: City of Wolvesthe latest part of the Deadly Rage-Series, wears!
The legendary Pao Pao Café 6 has also appeared as the newest stage in Street Fighter 6! Can you spot all the SNK references in this festive scene?
Players can unlock Terry by owning or purchasing the Year 2 Character/Ultimate Pass, or purchase Terry individually for 350 Fighter Coins, which also includes his Outfit 1 and Colors 1 & 2. Year 2 Ultimate Pass owners will automatically unlock Pao Pao Café 6, but the stage can also be purchased individually for 250 Fighter Coins or 5000 Drive Tickets.
Two innovative new features – V-Rival and Replay Review – provide players with valuable training resources:
- V-Rival: A brand new mode that lets players compete against an AI opponent generated from real ranked match data from millions of players. AI players can be set to any rank and character, encouraging players to practice against specific opponents without the pressure of a real ranked match. Players will receive advice from Li-Fen after each match and also have the opportunity to earn rewards such as stamps and titles as they complete more training in V-Rival!
- Repeat report: New features are being added to replays, most notably the ability to take control of either player during any moment of an online/offline replay. Want to see what a perfect save unlocks? Did you miss this combo? Curious about a completely different strategy? Take control (Replay Menu -> Toggle to Player Control) and see for yourself! Other improvements include the ability to display the image display during replays, the ability to change the replay speed, and the ability to advance/rewind the image by entering a direction. Use these features when reviewing your own matches!
Additional Knockout Updates
- The 20 winning illustrations of the Street Fighter Art Contests have been added to the game today! You can access them for free from Battle Settings > Character > Customize Challenges > Character Portrait, and face your opponents with some flair!
- New comic-style Challenger graphics for each character, drawn by UDON Comics artist, have also been added for free! More stamps and effects that can be used in Photo Mode have also been added!
- New avatar costumes, including a tribute to Terry’s classic outfit, an electric guitar, and a ball mask, are available in the Hub Goods Shop!
- It’s easier than ever to interact with other club members! In the CFN Players menu, you can check the login status of your clubmates and switch to the Custom Room or Battle Hub server they are currently on.
The evil M. Bison and the laid-back Terry (both available now) will soon be joined by Mai and Elena in 2025 to round out Year 2 of Street Fighter 6.
