Indie games were a huge hit at E3. The Indian scene has benefited greatly, with beautiful proposals that were very popular. A good example is the recent announcement Trek to Yomi. From Leonard Menchiari and developer Flying Wild Hog, the gorgeous side-scrolling game will launch next year on PC and next-gen consoles. During its presentation at E3 2021, Digital feedback presented this japanese court adventure with the most cinematographic decor. Trek to Yomi is a beautiful side-scrolling action game set in Japan, and it looks just fascinating. We want it now!
At Trek to Yomi we will put ourselves in the shoes of a samurai, the young swordsman Hiroki, who vowed to his master before his death that he would protect his city from all threats. The game sports a black and white color scheme and Japanese voiceovers. In addition, it has a combat system reminiscent of the memorable Ghost of Tsushima from Playstation. In fact, the game evokes Ghost of Tsushima in more than one way. It is one of those independent games that have particularly captured the attention of the general public and all media. The color palette, the decor, its soundtrack … everything leads us to believe that it will be a great game to take into account for the next year.
