Xbox controller triumphs on PC above the rest
Nearly 6% of gamers who play on Steam and use a pad for this, They prefer the Xbox controller for playing games. The Xbox controller is compatible from the Xbox 360 version and on PC, it is a completely established controller, from the Xbox 360 to the Xbox One or Xbox Series.
- 59% of gaming sessions use Xbox controllers.
- 26% use PlayStation controllers.
- 10% are Steam Deck devices.
You can see the usage percentages there, since 2018 there has been a change and the Xbox controller has established itself as the preferred controller for playing on PC, ahead of the PlayStation controller and Steam Deck.
