Yesterday the Xbox Games Showcase Extended took place. This was an extended preview, as well as statements from the developers, for the titles announced during Sunday’s showcase. But additionally, some new upcoming releases have been revealed which were not originally mentioned. It is worth noting the titles independent of the ID@Xbox program.
A total of 10 upcoming indie games will be available on Game Pass on launch day, as we saw yesterday. Perhaps the most important of these is sea of stars, a retro-style turn-based RPG reminiscent of the 16-bit era. It is the work of sabotage studio and will be released on August 29.
is also neon white, an acclaimed Angel Matrix puzzle platformer FPS. Neon White has been available on other platforms for a while, and previously leaks and certification ratings suggested it could be coming to Xbox as well. An interactive Annapurna Editors Showcase is scheduled for later this month and that’s where we’ll most likely find out about its release date.
