The latest update for Alan Wake 2 fixed the warning about a corrupted save game.
Recently, Alan Wake 2 received another update with bug fixes.
After the update, the misleading warning about a corrupted save should no longer appear after traveling to another area.
Furthermore, a rare bug in Night Springs was fixed where an enemy could push the player out of the playable area.

Generally
- Changed the welcome screen: it’s cooler now. (Probably not worth mentioning, but just FYI)
- In Night Springs episodes 2 and 3, resource waste was reduced to a more reasonable level. (It shouldn’t be that excessive.)
Bug fixes
- Fixed a warning about c orrupted saves that could occur when loading or traveling between areas. The warning was misleading and came from another error when initializing an area. Your saves are not corrupted.
- Fixed a rare issue in Night Springs: Number One Fan where an enemy could push the player out of the playfield.
- Fixed some rare situations that prevented the player from progressing past the end of Night Springs: Number One Fan.
- Some localized texts have been corrected.
- Several minor fixes and improvements.
- [PS5] Fixed: Activities did not work correctly in some areas.
- [EGS] Fixed: Achievements sometimes did not unlock when achieved offline.
