A whole new branch appears as Early Access ships. European destroyers have powerful torpedoes and solid artillery, as well as the Repair Party consumable from Tier IV, making up for the lack of smoke generators. Led by two new officers, Conrad Helfrich and Stig Hansson Ericson, this line is ready to set sail. These can be found along with Jerzy Świrski in European or regular Commander containers, or in the shop for 900,000 Commander XP. However, Helfrich, the starting commander for pan-European ships, is awarded to players who have received their first such ship.
The branch will be available via European regular or large crates, with the guarantee system active on the latter, dropping Tier III–VI ships of the branch and the Element of Choice campaign co-star, Tier VII Premium destroyer Friesland certain amounts of opened containers (20 for Early Access ships and 30 crates for Friesland). Friesland is also available for purchase for 750,000 Global XP points. Tier I Gryf and Tier II Romulus, on the other hand, can be unlocked for credits, while Tier VII Östergötland will be available at the start of the next update, at the same time as researching the branch. Each Early Access ship (not including Gryf and Romulus) comes with a personal mission that offers in-game rewards.
The Pan-European Destroyers content drop is also boosted by a couple of ships, namely the famous and coveted Tier VI Premium destroyer Błyskawica making a return to the store, and the brand new Öland of the same tier and type that also packs a punch gets it!
Back to the Belfast campaign
Versatility is her middle name: Meet Belfast ’43! She is a Tier VII Premium British cruiser and is at the pinnacle of the latest campaign. This is a new variant of the famous cruiser, but it still has the powerful ability to run the Smoke Generator, Radar, and Sonar consumables simultaneously. Prepare for an agile playstyle that’s quite different from what you’re used to surfing the waves in the original Belfast!
Belfast ’43 is available with active Admiralty support after completing 100 milestones in 5 weeks with the catch-up mechanic enabled. Alongside her, players can earn tons of in-game items including crates, boosters, camouflages, and more.
3 arena seasons
A perfect opportunity to win some prizes, have fun and test your skills: Arena Seasons are here! Battles of 4 3-player teams (ship tiers are IV, V and VI respectively) with bonuses scattered across the map (no HP regen among them this time) and no aircraft carriers allowed: it sounds as good as it is.
Prizes are awarded after each season ends, with contestants divided into six categories based on their results. The prize range includes Commander progression items, crates, steel and other in-game goods.
auction debut
This update also serves as a testing ground for a new feature: the auction. Players with at least 25 total games under their belts across all modes can use their doubloons or credits to participate in blind bids for exclusive tickets. The earlier the bid is placed and the larger it is, the greater the chance of getting the item you want. Any bid may be revoked and funds will remain locked until this happens or the auction ends by awarding the winners with the items they bid and the bid returned to all other participants.
This time the lots include a set of insignia, the rare golden flag to fly proudly, and a brand new ship: the German Tier III premium battleship König Albert. The auction runs for 4 days, from June 2nd to June 6th.
