Xbox Insider Release Notes – Xbox App [2401.1000.59.0]

Hello Xbox Insiders! We’re releasing a new Xbox app for Windows for Xbox Insiders enrolled in the PC Gaming Insiders Preview! Thank you all for being Xbox Insiders. Read on to learn more about troubleshooting and known issues. Make sure you update the Xbox app and gaming services to ensure you get all the fixes!

New PC Gaming pre-release versions:

Xbox app version: 2401.1000.59.0

• Available: 5:00 PM PT – January 18, 2023

Current versions of pre-release versions of Windows Gaming:

Game Bar version: 6.123.11012.0

• Approved: 5:00 p.m. PT – November 3, 2023

Xbox app bug fixes:

• Fixed an issue where certain pages would not load when attempting to preinstall games.
• Fixed an issue where the tooltip for games in MRU did not always display the full title
• Fixed various UI issues including clipped text, misaligned buttons, clipped text, etc.
• Fixed an issue where the “Show only unread messages” setting would not persist after changing
• Fixed an issue where game time might not display correctly on a friend’s profile.
• Fixed various issues where content was not displayed correctly when the app was first loaded

Known problems:

• The team is investigating an issue where you may receive an error when attempting to install a small number of games.
• The team is investigating an issue where some buttons are not rendering correctly on certain screens
