Xbox and Twitch are teaming up to improve console streaming with a new in-system release.
If you are a streamer or a content creator (it doesn’t matter if you are an amateur or a devotee) you probably already know the limits of live on console. Tic is now the leading game streaming platform. But its integration into consoles leaves a lot to be desired. Or at least it was until today, well Microsoft banged on the table to announce that relay service is added to Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.

This integration will come with an update. This will change the interface of both systems and will display a new option in the capture and sharecall live broadcast. So direct Xbox dashboard integration returns today after Microsoft removed its Snap feature and Twitch integration in 2017.
To access all of Twitch’s streaming features, we’ll need to link our account by scanning a QR code. This will take us to a page with instructions to follow. Once these steps are completed, everything will be ready to start streaming any game that we have installed.
The Twitch app on Xbox will continue to offer integration with webcams and will allow us to manage the basic options. We can change the title of the live, the audio level of the game, the microphone, our friends or define the resolution that we want to display. The difference is that we can now access it faster via the guides menu without having to open the app. In case we want to change the game, as before, a pause screen will appear in the broadcast until we start a new game.
