Good news for all users who have an iPhone with the Broken Face ID. Apple finally managed to manufacture a TrueDepth camera repair kit, and thus be able to replace it in the terminals that damaged it.
Until now, it was not possible to fix it. If the Face ID function broke and your iPhone was under warranty, perfect, Apple would exchange it for another terminal and the problem would be solved, but if the warranty period had already expired, had no repair
According to an Apple internal memo, Apple Stores and Authorized Repair Services will soon be able to repair a iPhone XS or later whose Face ID is broken. Until now, this was not feasible.
Indeed, a new spare part will soon be available in the official Apple spare parts catalog. It will be a TrueDeph front camera module
The note al so explains that said module will only be compatible with iPhone XS and later, so the first iPhone that came to market with Face ID, the iPhone X
