Apple has released the macOS Sonoma 14.3 beta for developers. The beta comes after Apple officially released Sonoma 14.2 to the general public on Monday. A public beta of 14.3 should arrive in the coming days.
macOS Sonoma 14.3: New features
Apple has not made any announcements regarding the contents of version 14.3 and there is no information in the 14.3 release notes for developers. There are no major new features that haven’t already been released, so version 14.3 will likely be heavy on fixes and security fixes.
macOS Sonoma 14.3: How to install the beta version
Developer betas are available to anyone enrolled in the Apple Developer Program. Apple typically releases a public beta a day or two after releasing the developer beta. We have a complete guide to downloading and installing the Sonoma betas if you’re interested.
Although beta versions provide early access to operating system patches and features, they are issued with the idea that users will test the software and look for bugs. This means that beta versions have some instability and may cause problems with your Mac. If you cannot afford to take the risk of a possible crash or usability disruption, you should not launch the beta version and wait for the general public release.
