The Apple AirTag could expand the family with two new options that would be very interesting.
The AirTag was a real surprise and one of the most interesting and cheapest Apple devices in its catalog. However, we now only have one option available, as we used to in the iPhone range or in the iPad range. However, that could change if the latest rumors that just came out come true.
As reported iDropNewsApple plans to expand the AirTag range with two new models, which would also use well-known surnames, AirTag Pro and AirTag Max. Two different options that would compete with Apple’s line of tracking devices.
What the AirTag Pro and AirTag Max would look like
Starting with the AirTag Pro, it is said to have “a shape very similar to the icons of iOS applications, a square with rounded corners that incorporates a hole as a key ring”. This device would a new U2 chip with ultra-wideband technology this would improve accur acy when locating them, and would start at a price of $59.
According to people familiar with the matter, Apple has started working on a new “Pro” AirTag that is larger than the current AirTag, but in a different form factor.
On the other hand, the AirTag Max would have a completely different shape. They say it will be available in different colors and in the shape of a credit card to use in a wallet.
Apparently, Apple is working on what could be called the “Max” AirTag, which would be a card-like tracker that would somehow be almost as thin as the Apple Card.
Additionally, it is reported that Apple is also planning to add another tracker to its AirTag lineup which is said to be in development. development for use in cars and locate them in case of theft. It certainly doesn’t seem unreasonable for Apple to expand its lineup of AirTags, although at the moment these are just rumors.
