A function arrives to recalibrate the battery
IPhone users will now have a tool to recalibrate the device’s internal battery when it does not perform as expected. For some reason, this feature is only supported on the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max at this time.
The company claims that recalibration of the battery will occur during regular charge cycles and this process may take a few weeks. When the recalibration is complete, the maximum capacity percentage and the maximum performance capacity data will be updated in the “Settings” application.
Siri will not only have a female voice
As part of the current version of iOS 14.5 beta 6, Apple is making several notable changes to Siri. The company said in a statement that Siri will no longer use female voices by default starting with iOS 14.5, and you add two more voice options to choose from. The changes also apply to HomePod.

The new voices use “source talent recordings which are then executed through Apple’s text-to-speech neural engine.” This allows the voices to “flow more organically” even when the phrases are generated on the fly. New voices are available in English speaking countries.
In addition, iOS 14.5 beta 6 also brings improvements to Siri voices in Ireland, Russia and Italy, upgrading them to Neural Text-to-Speech. This means that 38 voices are now using this new technology. “Siri now processes 25 billion requests on more than 500 million devices and supports 21 languages in 36 countries.”

The current new version of iOS 14.5 is available to developers and public beta users via a live update in the Settings app. As usual, if the update does not appear immediately for download, the update is probably taking a little longer.
