Apple plans to open the new Apple Store in Italy, especially in the heart of Rome, at Via del Corso. The buildings will be restored and will be the company's first opening in the country after the opening of Apple's luxury store in Milan at Piazza Liberty in 2018.
The new Apple store in Rome will be located in a historic building called Palazzo Marignoli. The building is close to the Piazza di San Silvestro and is very far from walking through the most important monuments like the stairs of Spain, the Pantheon or the Trevi Fountain.
For many years, the construction of the Palazzo Marignoli led to Caffè Aragno, a popular coffee shop in the area. Today, the upper floors have been remodeled as an office space. Apple has taken the opportunity to redo the space and open a brand new store.
