In September of last year alone, the arrival of the group transfers in Nearby Share, although we still had a little left on our Android phones. Now it’s official and you can share a file very easily with several recipients.
The fastest way to transfer files between Android mobiles
Nearby Share works the same as Apple’s AirDrop. In fact, we had to wait a while before having this functionality in Android which, by activating the GPS and the Bluetooth connection, we allows you to send any type of file to another phone
Via XDA we know we will now be able to select multiple recipients to send one or more files from our Android mobile with Nearby Sharing. Google made it official a few hours ago, so now you can take your smartphone in hand to try this novelty with your friends.
This new Nearby Share feature to share files is available from Android version 6.0 or higher. It works in a very simple way because when you press the share button on your mobile you will find the share button nearby, press it and after you activate the corresponding connections you will see the availability of nearby phones of your friends or parents.
You select them and simply click send to receive the request receipt of the file. By accepting it, they will start receiving the file you sent them. It can’t be easier.
Of course, we must remember that at present this new function is limited to four recipients and our device will only appear to the contacts that we have in our calendar. In any case, we can modify it from the nearby sharing settings at the very top of the small window that is generated when we want to search for contacts.
