According to the survey, in Europe 90% of users use WhatsApp as their main means of communicationWith Germany (79%) and the Netherlands (78%) being the leading country and on the doorstep. However, there is also another sector in Europe with countries like Estonia, Lithuania, Sweden or the Czech Republic, where instead of WhatsApp at the top of the podium is Facebook Messenger, also owned by Meta.
And as if that wasn’t enough, users were also asked about the apps they used most often, and We are the country in which Instagram has been cited the most, with over 29% of users. Meanwhile, at the opposite end of the rankings could be Lithuania, where the figures speak of just 6% of the population.
