Fast charging above 100W will be very common in 2022

In 2021 we have seen a lot of advancements in mobile telephony, but few have the reach of the super fast charging that we have seen in models like the Xiaomi 11T Pro that we were able to analyze a few weeks ago.

It is one of the few terminals to have reached the market this year with a load greater than 100 W. This is not the only one, the Black Shark 4S have them too.

That will change in 2022, when many other manufacturers will release models with these types of charging speeds. In fact, Redmi did it with the Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus, which we don’t believe will reach Europe by the end of the year.

Realme, OPPO, OnePlus … all will use fast charge above 100W

Xiaomi next year will be will add several brands in the running to recharge mobile batteries as quickly as possible.

A different way to top up your mobile

The relevance of this speed increase is far greater than what we have seen with previous jumps. The jump from 30 to 65 W was big enough to start thinking about changing the way the mobile is charged, but the one that takes place next year will be much bigger.

When we talk about recharge our mobiles in just over 15 minutes We forget to have to leave the cell phone on charge at night. In fact, we could charge it in the time it takes for us to shower and get ready.

And it remains to be seen that we ultimately won’t see models with loads of 200W or more, as planned for the summer of next year.

Of course, the obligation to use its own chargers and the fact that the batteries degrade faster will still put off, for good reason, many users.
