New Fire HD 8 Tablet, with 8-inch HD display, 32GB storage and 30% faster processor, built for entertainment (2022 model) | Black, with advertising
A new cheap tablet with or without advertising
Amazon’s new Kindle Fire HD 8 comes with, of course, an 8-inch screen diagonal. The e-commerce giant is setting up a IPS panel with HD resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels enough but that leaves the screen density below 200 pixels per inch. And for the battery, without giving a precise figure, it promises up to 13 hours of autonomy and that it recharges to 100% in two hours thanks to the 15W fast charge. Although the charger in the box is 5W, be careful with that.
The processor is an unknown eight-core model that runs at 2 GHz and is supported by a single version of RAM, 2 GB and two internal storages: 32 GB and 64 GB. If we want, we can expand the latter with a microSD, not included, which can reach up to one TB of capacity. Incidentally, Amazon doesn’t tell us which version of Android your new Kindle Fire HD includes either. We’re assuming it’s modded Android 12 AOSP, but we’re just guessing.
We come to the cameras and here we have a 2-megapixel sensor sewn into the back of the tablet and another 2-inch sensor sewn into the front. The new Kindle Fire HD 8 arrives with WiFi 5, headphone jack and USB Type-C port
