Email is a tool that almost everyone uses on a daily basis in Europe. Whether it’s study or work focused, it’s one of the best ways to establish communications that aren’t fleeting, so you can access them some time later if you need to check something, and Gmail is one of the most used platforms.
However, constantly using email and forwarding it to other people or platforms can end up making you that a large number of emails end up arriving by strangers. In the case of spam, this problem can be solved by writing to the Robinson list, which will prevent you from receiving spam calls and emails as frequently.
But there are other times when it’s just about emails that never stop arriving from different channels by unknown people because they forwarded the email to a platform which then sold the address. Fortunately, fixing this problem is easier than it seems.
Avoid unknown emails
Gmail offers a wide variety of options that allow each user to customize the application to work the way they want. It’s possible to remove shortcuts from the main screen and even mix up all your accounts’ inboxes so they’re the same. It also has a automatic spam detector which will classify messages that it detects as potentially unwanted promotions as such.
However, it may happen that this filter is not completely effective and the best thing to do is to correct it. For them, you just need to go to the SPAM messages that appeared in our inbox, click on the three-button menu and select the Report as spam option. This will cause emails from this sender of the same nature to go directly to this folder and you will therefore not find them in your inbox.
Another option that can be selected in this same section is to silence. After that, messages from this account they will continue to arrive in the main inbox
If these are unknown messages that were assigned by mistake when subscribing to a newsletter during a registration process and you do not want to stop receiving messages from platforms such as Facebook or AliExpress, it is also possible unsubscribe from this type of messages. In this case, just go to the end of one of the emails, where, as a general rule, this possibility should appear. In many cases, you’ll find this button at the top of the email, next to the name.
