Google releases new system updates several times a month that are usually automatically rolled out to Android devices, which (usually) results in improvements for your phone or tablet. Given the importance and size of these updates, it is essential be clear about your device’s update status and how to turn automatic updates on or off.
Google’s updates cover different categories and bring improvements every month, some visible to the naked eye and others that go more unnoticed. While some users may enjoy it sooner, others have to wait much longer. If you are unsure whether the latest update has reached your device, the best thing to do is to Check your current status

How to Access System Update Status and Check for Updates
System updates are a different concept from the Android version we have or the latest security update status. However, all of this information is usually present in one place.
Although with slight variations depending on the manufacturer, the route can be found in the settings and there it will appear in options such as About your smartphone
On this same screen, you can also check for new updates yy see what was the date of the last automatic search.
How to enable or disable system updates
Normally Google system updates are automatically downloaded and installed in the background.
In fact, there is no disable option as such
go to Setting and enter Google. In the three dots menu in the upper right corner, click System Services Update and enable/disable the “Automatically install service updates” option.
Although there may be reasons to disable them temporarily or even permanently, perhaps because there are problems with updates or because your device is too old, our recommendation is to leave system updates enabled.
