Since then, we have seen a great evolution in the software of Amazfit watches, although it has not yet reached the level of brands that use Wear OS.

However, these are very simple and straightforward applications, more reminiscent of what phones had before they became smartphones than the current devices we carry in our pockets.

Overall, Zepp has improved its operating system and included very useful functions, such as the one that allows use the watch as a recorder. Of course, we must be aware that this is a function designed to be used when we cannot take out our cell phone, since the audio quality is limited by the quality of the microphone.

To make a recording, simply click the button to view all apps on the watch and search for one called voice memo. When we enter a red button which will start recording as soon as we press it. To stop recording, simply click in the same place.

HAS To transfer these recordings to the watch, you need to connect to it via WiFi. This is so that the transmission speed is fast because doing it via Bluetooth might take too long, especially in the case of long recordings. For this we must open the Zepp app

and click on the icon in the lower right corner, called Device.

There we select voice memo and click Transfer recording to then mark the recordings that we want to transfer and click on the Transfer to device option. In doing so, the system will ask us to connect to a new WiFi, the one generated by the clock, which will have the name Music transfer, followed by some numbers. We click on it and the two devices will connect to transfer the content from the watch to the smartphone. From this same interface we can read it or share it in any application that allows sending files.
