Cupertino’s stre aming service, Apple TV+, has announced a new Spanish-language series made in Mexico. “Las Azules”, a police drama with Bárbara Mori.
Apple TV+, the streaming service for those in Cupertino, announces a new crime drama series in english titled “The Blues”. said story will frame the true story of the first female police force in Mexico.
Apple TV + will continue to bet on productions made in Spanish, now in Mexico
The series is currently in pre-production in Mexico City. The cast and crew in charge of the series are totally Hispanic. Mexican actress Bárbara Mori plays the lead role.
The central story will be based on 4 women who will challenge the country’s ultra-conservative norm. What they don’t know is that the government will wrap them in a publicity stunt to divert media attention from a serial killer. María, Gabina, Ángeles and Valentina will start an investigation that will lead to something that no other policeman could achieve.
This series is created by International Emmy Award-winning director, Fernando RovzarErica Sánchez Su, Wendy Riss will serve as executive producers in addition to Billy Rovzar, also an international Emmy winner. Produced by Lemon Studioswinner of the same International Emmy Award and has covered other Mexican series such as “Sr. Ávila”, “Control Z” and “Monarca”.

“Las Azules” is an award-winning series, as is another recently released series in English and Spanish called “Now & Then”. Also as “Echo 3”, an action thriller set in South America and the United States.
Apple TV+’s goal is to deliver world-class drama and comedy series that captivate audiences. In addition to continuing the commitment to be an original streaming service, no other service has been able to achieve faster recognition in such a short time since its debut (November 1, 2019). The success of Apple TV+ comes down to 244 awards and 961 nominations.
