Earlier this year, Google rolled out a series of new features to Gmail’s Help Me Write feature, which lets you dictate invites text editor to easily compose an email. If you have already viewed any of the new upcoming features, such as the “Adjust” or “Optimize” option, now brings it to Gmail on Android and iOS along with two others.
The tech giant has been steadily implementing many new features related to generative AI in many of its applications and is continuing with the machine at full speed to continue introducing more if possible.
Google announced the rollout on its Workspace Updates blog to indicate that the new “Polish” option will be available as part of the help draft feature in both mobile and web versions of Gmail.
What this new feature does is that user can enter quick notes in the draft and Gemini will take care of converting the content into a normal draft, ready to be revised in one click. This saves a lot of time as if it were a brainstorming session and the AI would compose everything in an orderly manner.
Additionally, Google app users on Android and iOS should see new access to help me compose when an email is completely empty. By pressing this button, the full writing experience appears and when 12 or more words are entered, a access will appear to refine or optimize the draft. You can switch between the different AI tools from this access, such as RefineFormalize, Elaborate, Shorten and compose a deletion.
Google is rolling out the update now to all regions to Gmail on the web, Android and iOS, while accessing to help me write and refine my draft only on the mobile versions. The only thing, according to Android Authoritythat these features are limited to Google Workspace subscribers with the various Gemini Education, Education Premium, Gemini Business, Enterprise, or Google One AI Premium plans.
It is unclear whether it will bring some of these features to all accounts, but it is understandable that it is limiting them to broaden the experience in its subscriptions and offer more value if possible, as generative artificial intelligence gains more and more followers. Google is not stopping and more if possible having Microsoft with Pilot and these new features that it launches provide solutions to businesses and all types of professionals.
