Scosche wants to make a difference about its products, and through its MagicGrip it provides it The charger and wireless charging of our car also automatically detect that we put our phone to receive, and that it has an interesting build quality.
The car charger looks like an accessory with a little bit of surprise, and in fact this Scosche MagicGrip isn't the only one that offers us a deputy-charger, or even an automatic when it comes to holding our iPhone. And it is not in the system to be attached to the air intake grille, or is in a load capacity, that is up to 7.5W maximum supported by current iPhones for wireless charging.
But from the moment you take it out of the box you realize that you are in your hands a different support than others, because its build quality is so high. I've tried many media for all products and prices, too nobody made me feel as good as this MagiGrip. It is made of plastic, but of good quality, with excellent finish, and with a strong feeling that puts it without rest.
After that there are details such that the base attached to the air intake grille allows air to come out of it, so as not to interfere with your vehicle's condition control. And that the support specification allows the 360º to turn both on the iPhone-powered part and on the air intake grille. And here there are no tightening nuts, the joints are designed to provide enough resistance so they don't go away once they are fixed, but at the same time you can place it in the desired position without any problems.
Split details don't end here, because in the box you will find everything you need to set up your MagicGrip: USB-A to USB-C cable, adhesive clips, charger holder and your car charger for cigarettes. Of course, you won't have to set your own charger, so keep that in mind when evaluating the price of this MagiGrip. A flat cord is also best when talking about passing it to your car's dashboard, so once the final result is achieved it's a great compliment to the sticky clips.
As for the function of this supporter-charger there is not much I can say, especially since it works perfectly without any problems. Put your iPhone in the holder, and as soon as it's received, your arms will acknowledge it
Removing an iPhone is not automatic, it's the only negative point I get in support. You have to separate the iPhone from the charger to stop it from receiving and the arms automatically open. For practical purposes, this means you'll need to hold the iPhone with one hand, and with the other hand, to be able to separate the two components. I really don't know how else to do it, because if the sensitivity when the arms were opened was great, the iPhone could fall before any vibration, something that would never be desirable. I prefer the "hassle" of having to remove the iPhone manually but rest easy because the support is secure.
Editor's Vision
The Scosche MagicGrip car charger-holder gives us things a priori that is not surprising, but it does it with a level of quality and attention to every detail that sets it as the best support you can buy for your car right now. Wireless charging is very reliable, with no connection during the trip and with great power the iPhone supports (7.5W). Its fully automated system is really free and very secure, and the dual-focus feature allows you to put your iPhone in good condition so you don't have to look at your phone while you're traveling, something to do with a simple look so you don't confuse the important thing: the road. Its price is higher than the average, € 84.95 at the Apple Store (connect), but Considering its quality and that includes a car cigarette luggage charger, it is actually a good price.
