Last week, used prices for the 2020 iPhone 12 were discovered. We found that a basic model with a 5.4-inch OLED screen costs $ 649. Others 759 euros after taxation in Spain. On the other hand, the iPhone 12 Pro Max model can cost 1,259 euros.
In fact, the iPhone 12 model will cost up to $ 50 less than the iPhone 11. So, how is Apple able to lower its price so much compared to other models? If you're thinking of buying a new phone, the answer may be that you don't like it.
One of the things that helps reduce the production cost of the standard iPhone 12 is connectivity support mmWave 5G. Obviously, this model will not have it.

The standard iPhone 12 won't have the speed of downloading mobile data
According to Jon Prosser, the iPhone 12 with a 5.4-inch screen and the iPhone 12 with a 6.1-inch screen should NOT provide support with the mmWave 5G connection. This means that those consumers who purchase these devices will not enjoy the same connection speed as all other models in the iPhone 12 line.
Instead of a 5Wave 5G connection, these two less expensive models will offer 5G networks below 6GHz. The best strategy will allow Apple to continue to say that these models have 5G connectivity, though this will be much smaller.
Of course, the download speed of iPhone 12 mobile data will be higher than that of iPhone 11 models with 4G connectivity. However it will not allow users to download Netflix movies in seconds as much as mmWave 5G.
What do you think about these issues? Do you think Apple should install the same kind of 5G connectivity on its new iPhone?
