The Hollywood writers’ strike affected the entire audiovisual industry and Apple TV+ was not going to be left behind. So much so that two of its most popular series have been threatened. Fortunately, the strike ended and industry returns to normal activity. And Apple too, of course.
So things, There are already at least three series filming new seasons, clearly implying that they can safely return to hasty cancellation. Of course, the production process is long, so there is no guarantee that they will return in the short term.
“Silo”, “Fundación” and “Platónico” have already started their new seasons
‘Silo’ started this year with a first season that was already enough to find it one of the best series on Apple TV+. So much so that I had confirmed a second season, filming of which had already started this yearalthough they had to stop in July due to the aforementioned strike.
Luckily for “Silo” fans and those about to get hooked on it, Collider confirms that “Silo” resumed filming. And although few details have been revealed about what remains to be filmed, some plot details have been put forward which, in essence, suggest that any open doubts will be resolved after the first set of episodes already aired.
Another of the most successful series and a higher level of production requires is “Foundation”. It’s unclear if filming for the third season has already started, but if not, it will be close to doing so, given that it was officially renewed a few weeks ago. So, fans of Isaac Asimov’s novels and who like this adaptation can rest assured.
‘Platonic’ may not be one of the best-known series on Apple TV+, but it’s magnificent story about the reunion between two old middle-aged friends There is still a long way to go. That is why we learned these days that there will also be a second season. Filming also started a few weeks ago, so they may not be far from finishing them.
Either way, it’s a peace of mind for fans of the series to know that they’re not going to be left halfway through the storylines. Of course we don’t ignore it There is still significant doubt with ‘Separation’, another of the most acclaimed that left a completely open ending and full of questions in its first season. Unfortunately nothing is known about his filming, although it is Christmas we want to be optimistic and hope there will be news soon.
