Whether you are Mr. Worldwide or just need for some reason to always be up to date with what time is it in several places in the world at the same time, the Google clock application offers you a very visual way to always have information at your fingertips: with its widget.
Many clock and alarm apps include a section World clock, to see the time in cities you add, but you still have to enter the app to see it. You’ll have it more at your fingertips with the Google Clock widget, although has somethingbecause it will not normally be visible.
1. Add cities
In some layers of Android, the clock widget can show you the local time relative to the time it is in “your home”, although this only works if you are in. roaming
To configure the places you want to appear in the widget, you need to open the Clock app and switch to the tab To concern. Then press the balloon button and use the search box at the top to find the city you want to add to the list.
You can repeat this process for add as many cities as you want, but keep in mind that the widget space is limited, so only the first ones will be seen. If you need to rearrange the list, you can do so by long-pressing one of the cities.
2. Add the widget
Then comes the time to add the widget to your launcher. The process may vary slightly depending on the launcher you are using, although in most cases you will need to do a long press, press Widgets and search for the Google Clock app widget.
Google Clock now has two widgets: an analog clock and a digital clock. You have to choose this second, because the analog clock widget will just show you the time at the current location, ignoring the rest of the cities.
3. Resize the widget
Now comes the most curious part. After adding the widget, the most normal is that you only see the time of your current location, but the widget is ready to show the time in all additional cities, as long as I have room for that.
I mean you need resize widget to enlarge it and make the current time visible in all other cities. The procedure may be slightly different depending on the launcher you are using. In some cases, you need to do a long press to be able to move and resize it; in others you have to make a long contact and choose Change the size.
As you expand the widget they will start to appear lines with the time in the rest of the cities that you set in the watch app. The current time in your time slot is large, while the rest is in columns, small. The larger the widget, the more it is displayed.
