Facebook has been working for just over six months to bring feedback to its main messaging app. WhatsApp will soon offer the possibility to quickly reply to a message, the same way iMessage already does. Soon? The truth is yes, because the latest beta version of the app already shows the settings for this feature.
Reactions to iMessage-style messages
According to WABetaInfo, version 22.2.72 of the app, which is currently in TestFlight beta, brings new settings to manage reaction notifications. This version does not yet bring the actual reactions., but we understand that his arrival is imminent.
A few months ago, the post got to see the options, part of a private beta of several that Facebook is using to test WhatsApp. Now these options have been deployed in the public beta channel
Without having more information on the arrival of reactions to the messaging app, the fact that Facebook has deployed the options to manage their notifications leads us to believe that these will arrive very soon
According to WABetaInfo, the application will offer the possibility to react to a specific message with up to six emojis. Currently, the list is made up of likes, hearts, laughs, surprise, sadness, and gratitude. A range of possibilities that could expand over time and that is very similar, even in order, to what we have been enjoying for a few years in iMessage. For now, we will have to wait a little longer, but it seems that, unlike other times, the wait will be short.
