Now that Google has regained hope with tablets and we are dreaming of its own “killer iPad” the next Google tablet is filtered, it will not be a device of the Pixel family but it will be a device of the family Nest.
It looks like Google is working on a new NestHub with a removable tablet form factor for this same 2022. The company would give mobility to this home automation device which, in recent months, has continued to gain in entertainment and communication features.
A Nest Hub tablet
A trusted 9to5Google source familiar with Google’s plans has revealed that a new Nest Hub smart display model will be a tablet that will be connected to its base-speaker f or a more conventional look.
In recent months Google has continued to improve the interface of its Nest Hub (2 gen, 2021) and Nest Hub Max (2019) by adding a traditional app drawer to be able to open your multimedia and home automation applications, or to improve your keyboard so that it is more comfortable to use from your touch screen and that you do not have to rely as much on voice commands.
The possible characteristics of it are unknown. “Google Nest tab”, or if it will carry Fuchsia OS as in previous models or if it will bet on Android to support more applications and games. The current Nest Hub (2 gen) released last year has a 7-inch screen and the Nest Hub Max released in 2019 has a 10-inch screen
Currently on the market, we have a similar device with the Lenovo Smart Tab M10 HD (10 inches) launched two years ago at a price of 179 dollars. If the leak is correct, we could see the new “Google Nest Tab” on sale late next year.
