Apple just released the second beta of iOS and iPadOS 14.6. These versions come several weeks after the previous version which aimed to polish certain details. In this update, given the changes we have seen in the various beta versions, we expect little change and our focus is on improving performance and polishing other errors.
Second beta, but with the focus on iOS 15
After the launch of iOS and iPadOS 14.5, where we saw several very interesting new features such as the arrival of the App Tracking Transparency, iphone unlock with our Apple Watch and compatibility with third-party controllers, now comes version 14.6. A version that should focus on tweaking certain details and improving performance before the release of iOS 15.
Let us remember that the next big version of the iPhone and iPad operating systems will be presented at the world developer conference during the second week of June. A version whose official launch is scheduled for September and October.
If we want to enter the beta cycle, we can do so by following these steps, but keep in mind that we are talking about development versions containing bugs.
Already in the beta cycle we will find the update in the app Settings as an OTA update. During the first few hours, Apple’s servers may receive more requests than usual, which helps to lengthen the wait time. In Applesfera we are already updating our devices and will update the article if any news appears.
