Google was one of the problems this week, after the downfall of its servers which resulted in the shutdown of several of its applications and services (Gmail, YouTube and more) for several hours in Europe. Today we have another app that suffers from the same problem, Spotify in this case. The popular streaming app does not work in many countries.
If you are using Spotify, whether on Android or its desktop version, there is a possibility that when you enter it this morning, you will find that it does not work. It is a problem that primarily affects Europe
This is why Google is down today and it is absurdly simple
If you thought Google’s downfall was due to a cyberattack or a conspiracy, it turned out to be easier than it looks.
Spotify crashed
If we go to tools like Downdetector, we see that Spotify does not work and that there are a lot of reports of issues with the popular streaming app. These problems started this morning at around 9 a.m. It is therefore very recent.
If you are using the app on your phone or the desktop version, you have probably noticed that you cannot play music. In my case when opening the desktop version tells me there is no internet connection
At the moment it’s unknown what has been the problem that is causing Spotify does not work. It is also not known how long it will take f or this issue to be fixed in the app, both in its desktop version and in the app on Android or iOS. The company may have news on this soon.
In the meantime, you can turn to other alternatives to Spotify, both on Android and desktop, such as YouTube Music, Apple Music or Tidal, while waiting for the Swedish streaming app to work smoothly again.
