News around Google Chrome, Google’s browser for computers and mobiles, they keep coming. Last month we witnessed how Chrome wants us to buy at the best price, on the other hand, we also learned that the update schedule has changed.
The new feature added by Chrome, allows you to open more than one room at the same time in Android. According to Chrome Unboxed, this new feature has been rolled out to some users who have reported its existence.
Chrome is starting to roll out the feature, but only to a select few
If we want to run multiple instances of an app, like Chrome, we have several possible solutions. On the one hand, it is already possible thanks to the layers of the manufacturers, as in MIUI with its dual applications, or OnePlus which offers its own alternative. However, some brands do not offer this function and we find ourselves without the possibility of doing so.
In order to have its native solution, Chrome developers have designed this feature which is integrated into the browser. To make it work we must go to the menu with the three dots icon that is in the upper right corner. It’s not available to everyone yet, but it’s expected to be soon.
For now, We have to wait for our browser to receive a new section called “Manage windows” or “Manage windows”. The official nomenclature in Spanish is unknown. These multiple instances will allow us to use Chrome with different Google accounts, keeping in each the history, bookmarks and other personal information such as passwords or addresses of each of the emails.
Also, as we can see in the screenshots, This new feature will allow you to split the screen in two, just like we do to manage two applications at the same time with the split screen. There’s no official announcement yet, but after going through the betas, it can’t be long before a worldwide release.

Users who reported seeing the new feature are at the stable version the most used browser. Chrome 108 is now available, so the change may be on the Google servers side. For now, we wait.
