Android version updates prevail due to new experiences and necessary optimizations for the experience from mobile to be improved exponentially, but apparently, not all users install them when they get the notification on your phone. Perhaps it is due to this dry and cold text that does not attract to finally download the new version of Android.
Most Android updates come from certain manufacturers with the the information necessary to know your news and thus know in good time what its installation will entail. Google still doesn’t think it’s enough, and it plans to provide more information to encourage the user to download and install it on their smartphone.
Google is working on a feature that has been named “Android Update Prompt” and which lends itself to displaying a series of screens showing the most important news. It also includes a button for the user to f inally decide to download it and thus restart the mobile to start the whole process.
The shared image perfectly shows how it works through a series of screens: one for the introduction, several with the different features and a final one to go to the download. In fact, it can be read on their website that once a device has a system update ready for user approval, it will be will receive a “push” notification informing
According Android Authoritythis new feature Will be available on Android manufacturers and requires support from Google Mobile Services. Samsung itself already offers a screen with the news of the update, although in many it simply boils down to system optimizations and the corresponding month’s security patch update. Google’s wish is that this new way of challenging the user is mainly intended for major Android updates.
What would be nice is that this new feature would even be used in all the updates in which news arrives, as happened with the latest from Samsung linked to the inclusion of the new 2x portrait mode; although the manufacturer did not provide information from the information screen. The best is that Google will force manufacturers display relevant information to encourage users to download the new version and thus take advantage of new experiences on their phone or tablet.
