In recent years we have seen how the smartphone has been using the functions and functions of many devices. We saw it with GPS, cameras, business cards and even our wallet. The last thing that will replace the smartphone is a driver's license, at least in Spain.
Officially, a driver's license can be mobile
In recent weeks we have announced news from the Spanish government, which has announced the development of an application that will replace the driver's license.
This program was open to all users a few days ago and today we were able to get a document confirming that it would have the same law as a driver's license.
This way we can take our car without having to carry our driver's license. This means that only two of the three things we always need when leaving the house can be replaced by a cell phone. We are talking about credit or debit cards, driver's license and ID.
Unfortunately, you still have to carry your ID whenever you are in a public place and that means you cannot carry everything on your mobile phone. However, it is likely that in a few years this may also be possible in Spain.

With this program we can look at the points we have in our driver's license, the status of our vehicle in respect of permits and licenses and also the details that appear in our license, such as the expiry date or the type of license we have. Also, will also play the role of the car
To use it we must register with the Cl @ ve program on this part of the Gob.es website.
In the future we will have new functions, such as payment of fees or questions related to our card.
