Star Wars Squadrons, the new free game on the Epic Games Store
Closing claps for Evil Dead The Game and Dark Deity replaced with a new free game from the Epic Games Store. This week’s program features one of the latest Star Wars games that should delight fans of space combat. From November 24th to November 1stis PC players can actually claim Star Wars Squadrons at 5 p.m.
In this first-person space combat game from EA, you take control of several legendary machines from both the Empire and New Republic licenses. These are, for example, fighters like the X-Wing and the TIE. Customize their gear and appearance, then modify their weapons and shields to complete your missions. This piloting experience is designed to make you feel all the adrenaline of space combat, both multiplayer and single player, in a story set right after the events of Return of the Jedi. Take part in strategic 5v5 space battles together.
What are the next free EGS games?
Will this be the only free Epic Games Store game of the week? Yes. Next week, the publisher is getting back to its good old ways with two freebies: RPG in a Box and Fort Triumph. With the former, you can easily create RPGs and 3D productions, all with voxel-based flair. An all-in-one toolbox that allows you to turn your ideas into games even if you are a beginner as no programming or modeling skills are required.
Fort Triumph presents itself as a strategy game that combines XCOM’s turn-based combat with HOMM-style map exploration. Make the most of your environment, where each object can hide a potential weapon, and develop more sophisticated strategies by choosing from four factions and four classes. Each hero can evolve at will until they develop multi-class talents. Building cities and bases is also part of the game, with resources to be collected in randomly generated maps. These two new free games on the Epic Games Store will be available from December 1st to December 8th, 2022, still at 5 p.m.
