Star Wars Jedi Survivor still has surprises in store for players, and it just proved that. We see that developers are still paying attention to this.
In 2019, the Star Wars franchise made its big return to the video game world with Fallen Order. The single-player experience was welcomed with open arms by the community and it’s no surprise that a sequel was released. Jedi Survivor has demonstrated the success of this license renewal, much to the delight of fans. And in fact, despite its release in April 2023, the game was entitled to new features from Respawn.
Star Wars Jedi Survivor receives a new update
Calm down, it’s not a huge DLC or anything. Star Wars Jedi Survivor has just received a new update. Put like that, it’s not necessarily big news. However, keep in mind that this hasn’t happened since last October with 7.5. This time it’s less extensive, but the game may not need as much polish as before. In any case, it’s a good reason to give it a try if you haven’t already. In our columns we rewarded this great adventure with an 8/10.

Update 8 patch notes
Here is the full list of changes coming to Star Wars Jedi Survivor in Patch 8. Don’t expect any massive changes here either. We mainly notice various and varied fixes or improvements for Slow Mode and Audio Ping. There is also a new contrast mode for accessibility. In any case, it’s nice to see, especially since it’s been a long time since the game had an update.
- A new contrast mode high, allowing players to desaturate the environment and use specific colors for narrative and gameplay elements to make them stand out more.
- A new feature in audio ping (Navigation Aid), which allows players to passively and actively ping the environment to use echoes to locate nearby objects and interactive elements.
- Several additional slow mode presets which allow players to switch between their own setting and three new presets.
- The presets are set to 30%, 50% and 75% and are available in the context menu. Users can switch between different slow motion speeds, not just the custom value and the default game speed.
