FromSoftware just released a new update for Elden Ring. A 1.09.1 patch that specifically addresses ray tracing issues on PC.
Elden Ring recently pulled out all the stops with a major update. A patch that was particularly awaited by players since it allowed (finally) to activate ray tracing and thus explore the underworld with better lighting effects. In theory, at least, the long-awaited functionality has been a disappointment to many since its inception. Where the graphics have improved, it has come at the cost of performance and a locked framerate to avoid disappointment on consoles and nasty technical hiccups on PC. FromSoftware has therefore provided a new update for Elden Ring, which mainly focuses on ray tracing.
Elden Ring v1.09.1 patch notes
A month after the release of the Elden Ring patch 1.09.0, FromSofware slightly overhauls its copy with an update update. The Soulslike that swept everything in its path is therefore at version 1.09.1. A small, much less massive update that mainly fixes adjustments and bugs related to gameplay and weapons whose effects were not applied. On the PC side, the studio will also unburden PC gamers who have mysteriously found themselves with deplorable performance without understanding.
