The Matrix Resurrections is one of the very last cinematic events at the end of the year. At the heart of the original Matrix trilogy, Warner Bros. decided to turn to the world of video games to promote their new film.
Epic Games and Warner Bros. are about to upload The matrix is awakening, a technical demo on Unreal Engine 5. Currently, The Matrix Awakens is available on PS5 and Xbox Series X | S must be preinstalled. The experience will be officially uploaded during the Game Awards on Thursday night Friday.
The Unreal Engine behind the Matrix?
This technical demo is presented under the name in the French Microsoft Store The Matrix Awakens: An Unreal Engine 5 Experience. The studio behind the engine actually presents it as a result of his collaboration with the film team:

The opening of the Matrix Awakens Preloading was also accompanied by the release of a teaser video. So you can discover the latter above. Obviously, it’s clear that Keanu “Neo” Reeves featured in this teaser was created in CGI under Unreal Engine 5.
