After offering us an event where we can catch Fungus Fury and Iron Palm, the latest games in the franchise are preparing to send us hordes of Pokémon for a whole weekend. This time there are not two, but six creatures that need to be collected as quickly as possible! In addition, this is a new chance for you to collect shiny creatures, so catch them all!
Many Pokémon in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet
A new meeting has just been started by Pokemon Ecarlate & Violet. A new mass epidemic will soon occur. Specifically, this term refers to an unusual grouping of several Pokémon in a horde. In other words: The little monsters appear in packs of 10 and, above all, increase your chances of finding extremely rare Pokémon, the famous shiny ones. And this time we’re going big, with no less than 6 different Pokémon, all of them babies. They will also have a very specific distribution between each region:
- Paldea: Pichu and Ptiravi.
- Septentria: Goinfrex and Riolu.
- the Blueberry Institute: Magby and Élekid
As you may have noticed, this means that you need the Pokemon Scarlet & Violet DLC to have access to the entire event and therefore the Blueberry Institute and Septentria regions. On your map, these groupings will be marked by question marks. As usual, the event will be of extremely limited duration as it will only take place between March 29th and March 31stso this weekend.

It’s mathematical: The more you encounter a Pokémon, the more likely you are to find its shiny variant, a rarer version of a creature identified by a certain color. The chances of seeing one are 1 in 4096. However, if you follow certain procedures, it can go down to 1 in 1365.
